Frank Di Giorgio's Voting Record:Votes supporting the community position: 0Votes against the community position: 5
DiGiorgio is clearly in the “mushy middle” of council. He appears to be independent but he does little to distinguish himself on council. His speeches are muddled and confusing. He did vote for the lobby registry but on the big issues in the last council like the bridge to the Island Airport and TTC funding he supported the business agenda. Hopefully DiGiorgio will follow the leadership of David Miller in the new council but it appears unlikely. Frank DiGiorgio is on the Administration Committee, the Nominating Committee and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. Ward 12 is home to a large Italian community, with about one-fifth of residents reporting an Italian background, including many first-generation immigrants. The ward has the second lowest average household income in the city, at $47,259, and there are corresponding high rates of low-income families and individuals. |
