VoteToronto is gearing up for the June 28 federal election! We are in the process of reviewing party platforms, as well as candidates in key races for Toronto ridings. We are currently conducting an online questionnaire examining candidates' positions on key issues facing Toronto. Some of the major issues we are examining include the Waterfront Redevelopment, the Island Airport, a New Deal for Cities, public transit, and affordable housing.VoteToronto has analyzed performance of the current MPs, through a compilation of the speaking records of Toronto-area MPs in Parliament, and their campaign finance records from the 2000 federal election. Who funded their previous campaign, and how often did they speak out on issues that matter to Torontonians?
